ACCELERATING CLEAN ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Effectively stimulate discourse between high-profile stakeholders on the buildout of clean energy infrastructure.
Our Client: The Milken Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank focused on accelerating measurable progress on the path to a meaningful life, with a focus on financial, physical, mental, and environmental health.
Our Challenge: JCI worked with the Milken Institute, Accelerator for America, the Inland Empire Chamber of Commerce, the California Air Resources Board, UC Riverside, and UC Berkeley Law to incite development in energy infrastructure in Southern California. The energy industry is complex, and requires coordination between government, private businesses, nonprofits, and associations and unions.
Our Approach: JCI performed outreach to key stakeholders and leading figures in green technology, created promotional materials, and hosted a summit of international significance.
Our Results: JCI facilitated a remarkable conference that brought together leaders from across the US to discuss the need for accelerated infrastructure in the clean energy space. The conference speakers included Fiona Ma, CA State Treasurer; Jigar Shah, Director of US Department of Energy Loan Programs Office; Patricia Lock Dawson, Riverside Mayor; Mark Takano, US Representative; Tyson Eckerle, GO-Biz; Steven Cliff, CA Air Resources Board; Christine Houston, Port of Long Beach; Hilary Norton, CA Transportation Commission. The event attracted hundreds and effectively stimulated discourse between high-profile stakeholders on the buildout of clean energy infrastructure.
