Steve Crosby

Senior Advisor

Known for his years of extensive business, educational, and political relationships on the state and federal level. Crosby has more than 30 years of experience in public affairs, strategic corporate and crisis communications, government, and community relations, as well as grassroots coalition-building.

As a senior advisor at JCI he provides insight and strategy for a variety of clients ranging from f telecommunications and healthcare to technology. He has extensive experience in Sacramento having worked for the California Legislature for a number of years as well as providing public affairs strategy for clients on a multitude of issues in the State.

Additionally Crosby is an advisor to Mendez Strategy Group Prior to these, Crosby was senior vice president of Frontier Communications (NASDAQ: FYBR), the largest rural telecommunications company in the U.S., where he was responsible for legislative and regulatory affairs for half of the country including California, Oregon and Washington. Crosby also is on the Advisory Board of WrappedLA which is an art design company based in Venice, California.

Before Frontier, Crosby served for eight years as vice president of corporate communications at Vulcan Inc., the global investment and management office of philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen. At Vulcan, Crosby managed a multi-function team overseeing public and media relations, marketing as well as government and community affairs at the local, state, and federal level.

He holds his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles as well as a B.A. from Santa Clara University. He is a graduate from Loyola High School in Los Angeles. He has also earned a graduate certification in public affairs from Southern California’s Coro Foundation. He was formerly vice chairman of the Board of Directors for American Humane.
