Bella Mendoza

Account Executive

Bella has professional experience in non-profit work, public relations, journalism, and policy research. At JCI, she assists on various accounts with grant management, research, reporting, outreach, and community engagement.

Prior to JCI, Bella interned at the International Rescue Committee where she assisted on outreach, research, and donation campaigns. There, Bella fell in love with advocacy work and continues this passion through her work at JCI. She also served as a research assistant for numerous professors at Santa Clara university, learning about the digital divide, free speech issues, and immigration policies.

At JCI Bella is eager to learn more about Public Affairs and the ins and outs of advocacy work and community engagement. She is passionate about immigration, women's health issues, sustainability, and digital equity and looks forward to gaining useful experience and knowledge of issues to help benefit the community.

Bella is a recent graduate from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Spanish, and Communication. There, she was an active member of the Ultimate Frisbee team and the multicultural club Together for Ladies of Color. In her free time, Bella enjoys running, knitting, yoga, and hiking. She even recently completed the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile hike across Spain.
