
Amelie Wu
Associate
As an Associate at JCI Worldwide, Amelie Wu supports digital media strategy, the JCI Visions blog, and Civic Encounter podcast, bringing her expertise in social media management, public affairs, and communications.
Amelie showcases a diverse background in advocacy, community outreach, and research. She previously supported the LA Civil Rights Department as a policy fellow where she developed branding materials, led outreach and logistics for the launch of citywide campaigns, and composed a City Council report on reparations for Black Angelenos. She gained greater policy and communications experience in the Mayor’s Office as well as UCLA’s Government and Community Relations office.
Amelie holds a B.A. in Public Affairs from UCLA and a minor in Geography. Outside of JCI, she enjoys graphic design, creative hobbies, and exploring the intersection of arts and advocacy in Los Angeles.
