Our Challenge
Deploy Action faced the significant challenge of “cutting through the noise” of the energy space to bring diverse stakeholders together with its 2025 launch. With many evolving policies in the energy space, Deploy Action was looking to refine key stances, identify avenues for political action, attract new members, and build out the coalition’s brand and positioning.

Our Approach
JCI took a multi-pronged approach, planning events, preparing the group for legislative advocacy, placing media in significant publications, driving social media engagement, and using AI-powered resources to track and synthesize regulatory action from key California agencies like the CEC and CPUC.

Our Results
Deploy Action had a successful launch in March 2025, with a Kickoff Reception attended by many of the state’s industry leaders, political influencers, and technological disruptors. JCI also refined messaging and presence online, secured placements in CalMatters, and supported legislative advocacy around SB 540 and SB 541, policies essential for grid resiliency.
