Meet Natalia Nervi, JCI's Newest Associate!

Natalia is a recent graduate of UCLA’s College of Letters and Sciences, where she studied Communications, Public Affairs, and how they intersect. She is joining JCI as an Associate, supporting digital media strategy, the Civic Encounter Podcast, and account coordination across client accounts. She brings a foundation in communication strategy, social media management, and public affairs to her work. 

Natalia showcases a strong background in higher education marketing and strategic communications. She previously served as Assistant Manager of the UCLA Student Affairs Media Team, overseeing more than 50 creative projects and over 100 cross-collaborations with Student Affairs organizations during the 2025-2026 school year. In this role, she embraced the power of storytelling through collaboration to ensure all students felt supported and at home on campus. Natalia was also a member of UCLA’s Swipe Out Hunger chapter, fighting for food justice and the end of student food insecurity on college campuses.

Natalia grew up in New Jersey and is the proud granddaughter of Colombian immigrants. She has a strong connection to her heritage, which inspires her to advocate for social progress across all marginalized communities. She is excited to be part of meaningful change through her role at JCI. 

Natalia holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA and a minor in Public Affairs. Outside of JCI, Natalia enjoys exploring LA’s restaurant scene, doing trivia with friends, knitting sweaters, and watching TV.
