Bailey Meyers

Associate

Bailey has professional experience in working with nonprofits, journalism, the music industry, and education. At JCI, he assists senior staff with outreach, research, and reports.

Prior to joining JCI, Bailey interned at Young Storytellers, an LA-based nonprofit focused on giving a platform to middle and elementary schoolers through screenwriting programs at disadvantaged schools around LA. While there, he assisted staff in writing copy, researching, preparing presentations, and instructing volunteers while developing an affinity for the nonprofit space. He also worked as a music journalist for a magazine, When I Make It To LA, and interviewed up-and-coming musicians. As an Associate, Bailey looks forward to learning more about public affairs and policy work while developing his skills in communications.

Bailey graduated from UCLA in June 2023 with Bachelor's degrees in Global Studies and English. At UCLA, he was Vice President and Press Manager of Cherry Pop Records, a student-run record label, and wrote an honors thesis on political communication for the Global Studies major. Previously, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Bruin Review, a student-run magazine and nonprofit, and now serves on the board. In his free time, Bailey enjoys live music, traveling, and Scrabbling.
