Senior Advisor for Entertainment Marketing
Marc Sternberg is an established media executive whose broad range of entertainment experience spans over thirty years and covers all aspects of film, television, and digital media; including development, production, and marketing.
Most recently, Sternberg embraced the digital media space by partnering with Carnegie Technologies to launch Denali Publishing, focused on creating content for mobile devices. While at Denali Publishing, he opened a mobile gaming division, which launched a tie-in mobile game for the 2019 film Spies in Disguise, starring Will Smith and Tom Holland. Also at Denali, he and his partner acquired the B2C music video and editing app TRILLER, turned it into a social platform to rival TikTok. Marc sourced a buyer and sold TRILLER to Proxima Media in 2019.
Marc began his film and TV career by working with David Geffen at the Geffen Film Company, where he was responsible for creating, developing, and overseeing numerous projects in development and production. Some of the movies he managed were Jon Avnet’s Men Don't Leave, starring Jessica Lange, Defending Your Life written, directed, and starring Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep, and Tony Scott’s The Last Boy Scout, written by Shane Black and starring Bruce Willis and Damon Wayans. Marc went on to serve as producer for the award-winning October Sky starring Jake Gyllenhaal, The Girl Next Door starring Emile Hirsch and Timothy Olyphant, and Mirrors starring Kiefer Sutherland.
