Daniel Pearl Foundation

JCI contributed to the expansion of the Daniel Pearl Foundation with the planning of a special event, which highlights the importance of P2P communication with high-profile musicians, media outlets, and charitable organizations.

Our Approach: The Daniel Pearl Foundation was created in early 2002 in memory of Wall Street Journalist Daniel Pearl, who was a victim of terrorism and who sought to spread a message of tolerance through his music and writing. JCI worked with the Foundation to create and publicize Daniel Pearl and his legacy. World famous performers involved in the now annual “Music Day Celebration for Peace” included Barbra Streisand, Yo-Yo Ma, Herbie Hancock, John Williams, Yefim Bronfman, Salman Ahmad, Itzhak Pearlman, and Sir Elton John. JCI is thrilled to have contributed so much to the event, Through smart data-dransion of the Daniel Pearl Foundation with the planning of this special event, which highlights the importance of P2P communication with high-profile musicians, media outlets, and charitable organizations.
